KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR OPPORTUNITIES EVERYWHERE.

Most of the chances we have we don’t realize are present. There are secrets to much of life are with those we talk to. They are giving us these gifts of knowledge and these are true gems for those who choose to use them. I firmly believe that we are a combination of everyone we come in contact with. Life is a buffet. Take some of this… and some of that. What we encounter and learn today will make us a different person tomorrow. Who knows? Maybe it will be a changing moment that hits you right then and there.

Take time and soak it in. Read a newspaper. Don’t just hear people. Listen to them. As soon as we start to do this (myself included) we will all be much better off.

Just ask for them. If they say no, well you are no worse off than you were already.

I asked for one today and here is what I got:

“I threw a party for the founders of the top internet companies, from Dropbox to AirBNB to Square, and all of them were blown away by Dave’s magic. Many of them told me afterwards it made the evening for them. Founders of tech companies are tough to fool, and all were left wondering about Dave’s tricks.”

Stay fashionable but frugal…

I went and bought a new suit today. JC Penny’s has a deal that if you check into foursquare you can save 10 bucks on a purchase over 50 dollars. You can do this again and again. The suit that I bought was a lot more than 50 bucks but you can still save on shirts and ties…

A new suit is a great way to rebirth your look or spruce it up if you like what you have already.
